Boy Reads To Shelter Dogs Every Week So They Don’t Feel Lonely

While the intention behind them is certainly noble, an animal shelter is a very difficult place for any pet to be. They may be receiving a great deal more care than the would out in the world on their own but they also spend a great deal of their daily lives cooped up in a small space.

Wanting to help these lovable pets Jacob Tumalan spends time every week at his local animal shelter reading to some of the caged dogs. His goal: to make them feel less lonely.

It may not be much, but to the lucky dogs that at least receive this much attention at the Carson Shelter in Gardena, California  I’m sure it means the world.
